Today
time demands more and more IT exposure in Government sector. The very common
term now a days used is e-Governance , which involves
public delivery system as well as for better internal working environment and
it’s monitoring. It has been a great project to push more of this new
technology out on the web.
The
first rule of any technology used is that “minimum inputs should be applied to an efficient operation which in turn magnify the
efficiency”. The second is that “automation applied to an inefficient operation
will magnify the inefficiency.”
The
Internet is dramatically changing the way that government serves the public and
taking the advantage of new technology.
For
every technology it is compulsory to have proper monitoring and updating. Providing information about government
services; allowing programs and services to be offered in a more dynamic,
interactive way, increasing citizen participation; increasing convenience and
speed in obtaining information or services; reducing costs in providing
programs and information about government services; reducing the amount of
paperwork; and expanding the possibilities of reaching new sectors of the
community or offering new programs is our objective.
